Subject: Week In Review: Your Country, Your People, UN RALLY TODAY
This has been an active week for the Jewish people and a victory for Jewish activism, by students! The Jewish establishment keeps failing us over an over again,with a lack of leadership, and quite frankly an overt interest in being politically correct at the expense of Jewish dignity.
The Jewish Youth is taking the reigns finally and is being vocal about the worlds hypocrisy. The UN was exposed for the circus that it is, with the efficient and smart protests by students, which made news around the world.

There is a protest by the UN this afternoon, called by Zach Novetsky, one of the students who made it to Durban. Please come with your clown costumes. The protest is being held from 12pm-1pm TODAY.

In other news, our well meaning President is appeasing and shaking hands with as many despots, dictators, and communists he can literally get his hands on. I dont know how much longer this can go on, but it is painful to watch our US Leader stoop to levels of people who are constantly mocking his naiveite.

Ukraine, Holocaust memorials were vandalized.
The neutral Swiss PM, shook hands and met with Ahmedejenirate, in a week where we remember how neutral countries helped Hitler not too long ago.
In shipment of wood from Lithuania to Israel, swastikas were drawn all over the wood. The Lt PM has expressed concern over the rising anti semitism in his own media.
A UK theater nixed a Yom HaAtzmaut event bowing into pressure of anti zionist groups.
White Supremacists make a family freindly event in honor of the Feuerers birthday.
Sacramento, CA, there is an attachment on the main page of the flyer calling for a tea party, take a look.
Attorneys in Norway seeking to prosecute Israeli Leaders.
In Israel, swastikas were found sprayed all over Kever Yosef
Klausenberg School finds burning wooden cross, and Scotland has joined the Israeli Boycott.
The Jewish Community definitely applauds the decision of all those countries who left whenever Israel was being singled out at Durban, but their decision to attend Durban, though well founded, added credibility and credence to a absolutely fruitless event.

Thanks Aryeh for the follow up email below, This is extremely important news and very telling about our current administration's interest in appeasing. Please see below - this is a disturbing development considering that the Human Rights Council has been focused on everything except Human Rights!
One item that is possibly the most important thing that happened this week related to this topic that I didn't see on your list:
US joined UN Human Rights Council this week, reversing Bush policy. This Council is very much pre-occupied with analyzing Israel "atrocities" despite the analyzers/members being countries like China, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Russia, Saudia Arabia etc. There are different factions in Israel and abroad for and against US joining but right now this Council is like the Darfur talks, bash Israel and no one else. Certainly needs monitoring. Here's what the Jpost said:
The council was established in 2006 as a successor organization to the UN Commission on Human Rights. It was a body founded in 1946 that was widely seen as dysfunctional and discredited by its pre-occupation with Israel and the inclusion of countries like Sudan and Zimbabwe, despite accusations of rampant human rights abuses against their own citizens.
The current council has attracted many of the same criticisms, but is due for a review in 2011 - one factor that drove the US decision to seek membership now, Rice said.

May Hashem Avenge his Blood, while the Spanish Courts are still trying to determine who killed the PA boy in the famous crossfire picture.
Everyone felt a glimmer of hope last week when the PA West Bank Youth Orchestra played and sang for Holocaust Survivors. Upon learning of this crime, the PA awarded the youth orchestra by dismantling the group and excommunicating the organizer from the West Bank.
In Riverside CA, a Chabad house was found marked with anti-Semitic graffiti and swastikas.
In Norway and in Montreal, increased Anti-Semitism is at an all time high.
Jews in Caracas have felt the brunt of govt sponsored hate, having been subject to over 400 anti-Semitic slurs by govt officials, including hate messages and violent attacks which smell of govt involvement.The govt is challenging Jews to stand against Israel in all media outlets and is clear about where they want their Jews to stand - or else?
Louis Farrakhan is back. His most recent statements made this week in front of 14,000 supporters spoke of how Israelis were "Liars, thieves, and murderers", how Jews control America and the usual dribble. I am still waiting for Jewish leadership to respond. Oh, I am still waiting for Black leadership to respond. Snoop?
In Yemen, the Jewish population - our brothers and sisters - have not received their govt rations for the passed few weeks. Many are finding it difficult to feed their children. We should sympathize, at the very least.
Also, on my group page, their is an interesting article documenting how the NY Times allocates its resources on alleged Israeli War Crimes vs information pertaining to America.
