Understand this; Israel will always be contestable as long as a Jew's connection to Israel is not guided spiritually, but rather through an outside factor, especially the Holocaust and a persecuted mantality.
This flawed argument was unfortunately so eloquently implied by our President in Cairo. And the danger is exposed.
The only reason the President had the Chutzpah to connect those dots is because this is what he sees in his inner circle of liberal Zionist's who do not affiliate themselves with Israel on a religious level.
Thats what Ahmenidegenerate is arguing - so to speak. He is in essence saying "EU, America, Liberal Jews, if Jews are owed the Holy Land because of the Holocaust - it didn't happen. Now what?"
You want the land??? Get a better reason. For the unaffiliated and non believers this presents a huge problem, because the man is right.
For the affiliated and convicted Jew however, our land has nothing to do with the Holocaust and we are entitled to the land with OR without the Holocaust happening.
This is the flaw of Obama's speech and the EU fallacy that ultimately is the fuel for Holocaust denial. Ahmedegenerate should have NOTHING to gain by denying the Holocaust, as he can logically conclude from what our President and the EU use as the basis for their pro Israel arguments.
Let it be clear. It's our land despite of and not because of the Holocaust.
