WEEK IN REVIEW: YOUR COUNTRY, YOUR PEOPLE, Stay Informed

For all those that emailed the International Red Cross to visit Gilad Schalit - Thanks. The response I received is I'm sure the same as you have, I posted it at the end of this email. Remember he is right now being held by Terrorists.

"I am proud" - Ilam Halimi's Murderer in Court

At the same time, Israelis must acknowledge that just as Israel's right to exist cannot be denied, neither can Palestine's. The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements. This construction violates previous agreements and undermines efforts to achieve peace. It is time for these settlements to stop. Hussein Obama's Speech.
MY Commentary: Mexico has told America that in order to achieve peace, America will not be able to create settlements in New York because its an obstacle to peace as it denies Mexico's right to exist.

America will align our policies with those who pursue peace, and say in public what we say in private to Israelis and Palestinians and Arabs. We cannot impose peace. But privately, many Muslims recognize that Israel will not go away. Likewise, many Israelis recognize the need for a Palestinian state. It is time for us to act on what everyone knows to be true. Hussein Obama's Speech.
MY Commentary: We cannot impose peace ON HAMAS or IRAN or the PA or HIZBULLAH, but we can impose peace on ISRAEL. Therefore, we will try to get rid of the hardline Bibi government and replace it with a dovish government while we invite the left wing HAMAS government to the table because of their legitimate pursuits to a homeland just like Jews from the Holocaust. (although in both cases Jews were the ones that were killed, and not for land (ex. Gaza).

This week Jews in the news...

US may reduce support for Israel in the UN and not veto critisizm's of the Nazi State of Israel. If you repeat a lie long enough, it will ultimately end up being believed.

Many of you are confused about Hussein Obama's speech. Well, first I would like to thank the 75% of Jews who voted for this man.
The irony is that it's the Republicans and Christian Right who understand the threat to the Jew more than the Jew himself. For some reason they are able to see good and bad, while Jews see Republican and Democrat. For some reason its the Jew that scared to align himself with a man like Kahane, who cared about his fellow Jew,  while forgiving Obama for every radical, socialist, and violent person with whom he has been associated.

Our President is seeking enemy friends at the expense of Israel's security. This is not a secret anymore. He is legitmazing all those years of murder by Hamas as a pursuit to a homeland. He has made it clear that all thats demanded from the PA and Hamas is to stop killing Israeli's and in return they will get land - they dont have to concede anything. (ex. Gaza). Because this is the only thing Obama is requiring from the PA, he finds it easier to deal with Hamas than with our "hardline" "hawkish" "rightwing" "conservative" government, who will have to concede land. Our govt was voted by the Israeli people - just like Hamas was voted in by their suicide minded people. Basically, if we dont give them land, they are justified to kill.

I would like to make it clear, the Jewish Establishment has completely let us down. The fact that Jews are scared to say outright that Jerusalem is ours, is a result of years of listening to lies and to not standing up or believing in your own religion. The West thought of political correctness has made Jewish leaders quiet to the extent that the lies on the Arab side are believed to be true.

Just take note that the PA movement has never cared about political correctness, has never practiced it, and has never given in. Because of this, half of Israel is on the table, as is Jerusalem. There is nothing wrong with being Jewish and proud and knowing and standing up for Yerushalayim. Sometimes we can learn from our enemies regard.

Shabbat Shalom!

 Dear Madam/Sir,
Thank you for your messages of concern. On behalf of the International
Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), I express our appreciation for your
humanitarian concern regarding Gilad Shalit and stress that we share your
concerns, and the concern of countless others in Israel and around the
world, for his safety and well-being.
The ICRC has tried by every means available to obtain information on Mr
Shalit's condition and to gain direct access to him. In its humanitarian
capacity, the ICRC took an active role immediately upon notification of the
capturing of Gilad Shalit on 25 June 2006, and since then, has never for a
moment allowed his case to drop from its agenda. The issue of ICRC access
to Gilad Shalit to ensure respect for his life and dignity and to transmit
news from his family is repeatedly brought up at high-level meetings
between the ICRC and the Hamas, both in Gaza and in Damascus. In addition,
we have been constantly reminding his captors of their obligations under
international humanitarian law.
The ICRC has made public its concerns regarding Mr Shalit's situation.
Statements by the ICRC's president and other senior officials can be found
on our website (in December 2008,
http://www.icrc.org/Web/Eng/siteeng0.nsf/html/israel-interview-111208; in
May 2008,
http://www.icrc.org/Web/Eng/siteeng0.nsf/html/israel-interview-300508; in
June 2007,
http://www.icrc.org/web/eng/siteeng0.nsf/htmlall/israel-interview-070607?opendocument
).
We have also been in contact with Mr Shalit's family. Both they and the
authorities have been kept informed of our actions. Last summer, Mr
Shalit's parents Noam and Aviva agreed to be interviewed for the ICRC
website
(http://www.icrc.org/Web/Eng/siteeng0.nsf/html/israel-interview-300808).
The ICRC will do everything in its power to gain access to Mr Shalit.
However, as in all such cases, the responsibility for Mr Shalit's treatment
and living conditions lies entirely with the people holding him. The
implementation and enforcement of international humanitarian law is
primarily the responsibility of parties to armed conflicts, be they States
or other entities.
From its headquarters in Geneva and through its different delegations in
the region and worldwide, the ICRC continues to follow up on any leads that
may present themselves with the hope of bringing to the family, friends and
supporters of Gilad Shalit the good news that they so desperately seek.
Yours sincerely,
Pierre Dorbes,
ICRC Deputy Head of Delegation
Israel, Occupied and Autonomous Territories
