Anti-Semitism April 2009

There are two stories which occurred this past week, with which you may not be familiar, but are painful to watch and read about.

The first is the extremely disturbing murder and torture of a 23 year old French Jew named Ilan Halimi, HY"D (may Gd avenge is blood). In February 2006, Ilan was found naked and handcuffed in South France. He was tortured and burned for 3 weeks while his captors (27!) made crazy demands from his family, only to brutally murder him at the end.
His captors ranged from muslim to Neo Nazis, from French to Portuguese.
The leader of this barbaric gang, 28 year old muslim Youssouf Fofana, smiled in court this week, as France, at the protest of the Halimi family decided to make this a closed court proceeding. Fofana smiled and yelled Allah is great, and started threatening an intimidating the Halimi's in court with the approval of the Judge.
According to Halimi's attorney, the Judge allowed Fofana free reign in court to scare the Halimi's and tell them they were being photographed and went on a tirade, while the Halimi's kept asking that the court shut him up so that the proceedings can continue. After numerous attempts, the Halimis - TODAY - left the court house in protest because of the way the Judge was handling the case.
Unfortunately, true to their reputation, the hijacked French are having a difficult time coming to terms that this was an antisemitic attack!

To make matters worse, they are frustrating the lives of the family which lost their son by torture, through a sham legal system, by questioning symantics and treating this Jewish murder case as if it's a mock trial.

The second story is of Leon Klinghoffer. 1985, Leon, an American Jew who was wheelchair bound, was on board the Italian Cruise ship Achille Lauro. Palestinian Terrorists hijacked the ship and a Muslim named Al-Moqui shot Leon and threw his body in the ocean.
After 24 years in an Italian prison, Al-Moqui has been released this week.

There are other updates including the CA Jewish professor who made his students "think" by sending out an email equating the Holocaust with Zionism, and the usual lies, slowly gaining acceptance through repetition.
And the BMI airlines which didnt have Israel on their inflight map, due to error.
